Hello I'm Troy, attending IUS to learn about and create Fine Art. My major is in Ceramics, but also enjoyed Printmaking and 3D class. I'm interested in making objects that are non functional and organic in apperence, push the object to the limit yet still hold it together astetically. I do make functiolal work, but sometimes you would guestion what it would actually be used for. I enjoy these objests the most. Other thigs that interest me are; Music Science/Technology, History, and Nature. I also enjoy playing the guitar, I'm still learning but it is a great joy to figure things out and create in a different way. Other hobbies are Skateboarding/Snowboarding, and model making/Balsa wood Planes. I'm also a member of the IUS Dirtbags. Since the creation of the clay club we have had two open house exhabitions and also created our own gallery space. I currently work at a country club serving food to rich people, so i can pay for gas to go to school.
